Tonight, I snapped a picture of Alyssa in her Halloween costume. She dressed up as a bumble bee.

It was late in the day and I was in the game room trying to decide what to take a picture of. This was what I came up with.

Today, I snapped a few pictures in an old garage or shop building that has been abandoned and frequented by people who have made it look drastically different.

Today's image was snapped around the corner from our house. Our neighbors here, like to setup a big Halloween display each year. I stopped and snapped this picture.

Tonight, Shawn went to dinner for Mom's Night Out (MNO) with our Families With Children From China (FCC) group. So, Alyssa and I stopped at the park to play before going to dinner. Here's Alyssa playing at the park.

Originally, we looked to use glass tiles as an accent around our tub area. Now, we may do something different. This is some of the glass tile samples we've been looking at.

Tonight, we went to watch the Tulsa Oilers play the Oklahoma City Blazers in hockey. This was the first game that Tulsa played in the new BOK Center. Here's a little fight that broke out during the game.

Day 263

Today, I had to haul a bunch of junk to the landfill. The landfill is in an old rock quarry. In fact, a lot of the land nearby is an active rock quarry. As, I left the landfill, I stopped to find a geocache which was hidden near a long conveyor belt that moves rock underneath the highway I was standing on when I shot this picture.

Tonight, the weather has been quite a bit cooler. So, Alyssa got to wear some new, warmer pajamas. She posed for me, and gave me a big grin, when I snapped this picture.

Tonight, I finished removing the tiles from our tub area. We are remodeling our master bathroom. I'm sure this project will take quite a bit of time to complete and I'm planning on installing the new tile myself. Hopefully, I'll have a good looking tile job to show off in the near future.

Today's picture is of an old gable bridge not too far from my home. Looking at it from this angle, it's hard to believe that the weight limit is 6 tons.

Today, I snapped a picture of an empty turtle shell, while I was hunting a geocache.

Today, we took Alyssa to the Pumpkin Patch. She latched onto a tiny pumpkin that we had to buy her. She rode a pony, saw lots of cool animals, and almost fed a goat.

Tonight, we went to the kiddie park in Bartlesville, where they were having a special Halloween party. Alyssa wore her bumble bee costume and her cousin Gwen came along with us. Here's a picture of Alyssa riding the plane ride. Gwen is facing the other way behind her in a fairy costume.

This is our new building for Laureate Research. They've finally completed all the steel for all five floors. This picture was shot from the ground level of the current building, which is the second floor of the new building. To follow the construction, you can view the webcam. Tonight, I setup my tripod and the auto-timer and Alyssa and I jumped in the hot tub.

Tonight we ate Chinese food. Alyssa ate some cake and made a bit of a mess on her face. She showed us her big grin when we got the camera out.

Today's picture was snapped during my lunchtime bike ride. This is a sunflower I spotted along the bike trail.

Tonight, we filled up the van. The total was well under $40, when we've been routinely paying more than $50. In the last 4 - 6 weeks, the price of gas has dropped more than $1 per gallon, here.

I was downtown again today for the Tulsa TechFest. I found some more interesting artwork to snap a photo of. This mural was found on a club in downtown Tulsa.

Today, I attended the Tulsa TechFest at OSU-Tulsa. It's just a block away from the historic Greenwood district of Tulsa, which is home to a jazz festival known as Juneteenth or the Greenwood Jazz Festival. Here is some of the artwork painted on a retaining wall where I-244 crosses Greenwood.

Today, I was playing around with the macro lens and an old light bulb.

Tonight we went to the Cherokee Casino to eat at their Wild Potato Buffet, which has seafood on Tuesdays. This includes snow crab legs, fried shrimp, salmon, seafood nueburg, frog legs, boiled shrimp, seafood gumbo, and much more. And their chocolate fountain with desert. I snapped a few pictures of their new hotel being built here before we left. Even at 9:15 PM, they had workers inside and you could see welding going on. I guess they're in a hurry to finish it.

Today, we're back home. Shawn got a new shape sorter toy out for Alyssa to play with. This is Alyssa playing with her new toy.

Today, we flew back to Oklahoma City from San Diego. Here's a picture of Alyssa at my parent's home, playing with a cell phone.

Today is our last day in California and we had no specific agenda. I hunted a few geocaches near our rental place. We did a little more shopping at Seaport Village. Then we drove up to La Jolla and did some more shopping. This picture was taken on the coastal rail trail in Solana Beach while I was out geocaching.

Today we bought trolly passes and started our day at Old Town. From there, we went to Little Italy for some lunch and some gelato. After that, we went on a harbor cruise and did some shopping at Seaport Village. Here's a picture of Alyssa enjoying some gelato in Little Italy.

Today, we went to Sea World. This is a picture of Alyssa and Erica riding the Sea Star Spin ride.

Today we took the ferry to Coronado, had lunch and took the ferry back. Then we went to Belmont Park. This picture is of downtown San Diego. I shot it from the other side of the bay in Coronado.
